Hobbies Weekly No. 22
Issue 22 of a weekly British hobbyist paper published by Hobbies Ltd in 1896 for amateur fretworkers, wood carvers, stamp collectors, poultry keepers and cyclists. The plates are working patterns and headings printed as line blocks: pierced fretwork panels, scrolling brackets and mirror frames shown in solid black silhouette, interlaced carving strips, and a decorated "For Sale and Exchange" banner with drawn letters, scales and clasped hands — usable as stencil-ready silhouettes, borders and display lettering.
