An Italian pattern book of the five architectural orders drawn from Palladio, engraved and edited by Giovanni Francesco Costa and printed at Padua in 1800 for students and practitioners of architecture. The plates are outline etchings of capitals, entablatures, bases and pedestals, each ruled with dimension lines and numbered measurements, mixing plain mouldings with acanthus scrolls, dentils, Ionic volutes and fluted shafts usable as line ornament.
