A German pattern book of garden and villa designs issued by Johann Gottfried Grohmann and continued by Baumgärtner in Leipzig through 1832, sold to architects, artists and building tradesmen as working models. Engraved plates pair small elevations of thatched cottages, Chinese pavilions, gate lodges and temples with floor plans, lattice borders and scale bars, giving designers crisp outline buildings and ornament strips.
