I gioieli pittoreschi : virtuoso ornamento della città di Vicenza : cioè l'endice di tutte le pitture publiche della stessa città
A pocket guide to the public paintings of Vicenza, compiled by the Venetian painter and print dealer Marco Boschini and printed in Venice by Francesco Nicolini in 1676 for travellers and art-minded readers. The plates here are small woodcut initials—P, N, D—set in dense foliage, fruit and scrollwork, usable as drop caps, ornament tiles or sources for hatched leaf texture.
