Illustrated catalogue of the tenth series of 100 paintings by old masters of the Dutch, Flemish, Italian, French, and English schools, being a portion of the Sedelmeyer gallery which contains about 1500 original pictures by ancient and modern artists
A dealer's illustrated stock catalogue issued by Charles Sedelmeyer's Paris gallery in 1906, listing 100 paintings by Dutch, Flemish, Italian, French and English masters for collectors and the trade. The plates are soft halftone reproductions of oil paintings, mostly half-length portraits of women and men against dark or clouded grounds, useful for period costume, hairstyles, and the grainy tonal texture of early photomechanical printing.
