A Victorian needlework manual of knitting, netting, crochet and embroidery patterns by Mrs Henry Owen, with a history of the craft by the Countess of Wilton, issued in London by Henry G. Bohn in 1847 for women working at home. The chromolithographed title page sets ornate lettering inside a cartouche framed by dense floral and strapwork borders in red, green, blue and gold, useful for panel frames, medieval-revival ornament and display type.
