Illustrated catalogue of the Sheboygan Chair Company.
A trade catalogue issued in 1889 by the Sheboygan Chair Company of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to show its line of wooden seating to furniture dealers and buyers. The 254 wood-engraved plates present single chairs in three-quarter view against blank grounds, each rendered with fine hatching that describes bentwood hoops, turned spindles and legs, and caned or perforated seats; useful for spot illustration, silhouette work, and period furniture reference.
