Illustrated catalogue and shopping guide.
An 1886 illustrated mail-order catalogue and shopping guide issued by the Kansas City dry-goods house Bullene, Moores, Emery & Co., made to sell clothing and household goods to customers ordering by post. The wood-engraved cuts show garments laid flat or worn without figures, with hatched shading and close detail on embroidered yokes, scalloped hems, tucked bands and fringe, useful as line-art clothing silhouettes, trim borders and repeating edge patterns.
