A trade catalogue of chairs issued in 1886 by C. N. Arnold & Co. of Poughkeepsie, New York, for furniture dealers and retail buyers selecting stock. The 106 wood engravings each show a single chair in three-quarter view, with turned legs, cane or wood seats, stenciled crest rails and pierced splats; useful for silhouettes, turning profiles, and small ornament patterns.
