A trade catalogue of chamber furniture issued by J.A. Fritter & Co. of Baltimore in 1885 for furniture dealers and retail buyers. Wood-engraved elevations show washstands, dressers and commodes with scrolled crest boards, oval mirrors and panelled doors, rendered in dense parallel hatching and burl-grain blotches that supply ready-made wood textures and Victorian cabinet silhouettes.
