A trade catalogue issued in 1879 by the Sugg & Beiersdorf Furniture Manufacturing Co. of Chicago to show dealers and retail buyers its bedroom suites, dressers and bedsteads. Wood-engraved plates render each piece in three-quarter view with dense line shading, carved floral panels, pediments, turned posts and mirror frames — useful as Victorian ornament sources and period product-illustration models.
