A trade catalogue of office and library furniture issued in 1883 by the American Desk Manufactory of New York for dealers, clerks, and office buyers. Wood-engraved three-quarter views show writing desks, secretaries, and cabinets with pigeonhole interiors, turned legs, paneled doors, and carved pediments, rendered in fine parallel hatching that reads as grained walnut; useful for period furniture silhouettes, drawer-pull and molding details, and engraved wood texture.
