Illustrated price list of patented artificial wood ornaments for furniture manufacturers, architects, builders, interior decorators, stair builders, car builders, organ manufacturers, steamboat builders, etc, etc.
An 1879 illustrated price list of patented artificial wood ornaments, issued by an unnamed American maker for furniture manufacturers, architects, builders, stair and car builders, and organ and steamboat shops. Wood-engraved cuts show stock carvings item by item — acanthus scrolls, palmettes, anthemions, keystones, rosettes and drop brackets — modelled in close hatching against blank ground, ready to lift as isolated ornaments, corner pieces or headpieces.
