Illustrated trade price list of artists' materials.
An illustrated trade price list issued in 1886 by Janentzky & Weber of Philadelphia, cataloguing artists' materials for dealers, painters and drafting offices. The wood-engraved cuts isolate single tools against blank grounds — fan brushes, ferrules and rivets, ruling pens, a lathe-turned palette disc — rendering wood grain, bristle and metal in fine parallel hatching useful as spot illustration or hardware silhouette.
