An illustration of the Egyptian, Grecian, and Roman costume; in forty outlines, with descriptions, selected, drawn & engraved
Thomas Baxter's 1810 London plate book of forty outline engravings copying Egyptian, Greek and Roman dress from antique vases and reliefs, issued by W. Miller for artists, designers and history painters. The plates are pure contour line without shading: draped women pouring libations, warriors with round shields and spears, altars, amphorae and meander borders, all easy to trace, enlarge or recolour.
