An archaeological report by Giovanni Battista Vermiglioli on the Volumni tomb unearthed at Perugia in February 1840, with other unpublished Etruscan and Roman monuments, printed in Perugia by Bartelli for antiquarians and epigraphers. The plates are fine outline engravings of cinerary urns, sarcophagi and tomb facades drawn in elevation with measured scale bars, offering reclining banqueter figures, winged genii, garland-and-ox-skull friezes, rosette panels, gorgon masks and Etruscan and Latin lettering.
