Histoire De L’Astronomie Ancienne Tome Premier (Vol. I)
A scholarly history of ancient astronomy by Jean-Baptiste Delambre, printed in Paris in 1817 by Mme veuve Courcier for mathematicians and astronomers reading the Greek, Chinese and Indian records. The scans hold no pictorial plates: instead French letterpress text pages, ruled numerical tables of star positions and sidereal days, and a cloth endpaper carrying a taped library label, date stamp and barcode.
