Shooting, Moor and Marsh, 4th ed. (the Badminton Library of Sports and Pastimes)
A late-Victorian British sporting manual on grouse, wildfowl and deer shooting, written by Lord Walsingham and Sir Ralph Payne-Gallwey for the Badminton Library and issued by Longmans, Green in London in 1893, aimed at gentlemen shooters. Wood-engraved plates and text figures show fowlers crouched on rocks watching the tide, stags on open moorland, and diagrammed punt guns, swivel guns and paddles, giving designers tonal landscape vignettes alongside clean line drawings of firearm parts.
