Indoor and outdoor handicraft and recreation for girls
An activity manual by Lina and Adelia Beard, published by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York in 1904, teaching American girls crafts, games and outdoor pastimes. The 380 pen-and-ink figures are small instructional line drawings—folded paper and cloth, knotted cord, segmented spheres, tent shapes—built from open contour and hatched shading, useful as diagram vocabulary, spot illustration, or craft-step sequence.
