An introduction to the study of variable stars
A 1915 astronomy textbook by Caroline E. Furness of Vassar College Observatory, published by Houghton Mifflin for students and amateur observers of variable stars. The plates are line diagrams and letterpress tables: gridded light curves plotting magnitude against Julian date, scatter points of individual estimates, and ruled columns of dates and magnitude steps.
