Inventors
A collection of short biographies of inventors written by Philip G. Hubert and published by Scribner's in New York in 1896 for general American readers. The plates are line-engraved portrait heads in collar and cravat, built from close cross-hatching on blank grounds, plus a few machine and shipping scenes such as the Clermont under steam.
