The Inventor's advocate, patentees' recorder, and weekly British and foreign miscellany of inventions, discoveries, and the fine arts
A weekly London trade periodical of 1839, printed by John Eames, reporting patents, inventions and manufactures for inventors, patentees and engineers. The plates here are repeated impressions of its wood-engraved masthead vignette: a robed Justice with sword and scales standing on a globe inside a laurel wreath, flanked by furled flags lettered Austria, Prussia, Belgium, Holland, England, France and Mexico above a motto ribbon reading Fiat justitia, ruat coelum.
