An investigation of the flow of water through submerged orifices and pipes
A 1909 civil engineering thesis by Ward Reid Robinson at the University of Illinois, measuring water flow through submerged orifices and pipes for hydraulics students and engineers. The plates are hand-inked line drawings: an apparatus layout of tank, valve and standpipes, and dimensioned sections of tapered mouthpieces with hatched walls, useful as technical diagram texture and measurement annotation.
