Iosephi Torelli veronensis Elementorum prospectivae libri II : opus posthumum
A Latin treatise on the elements of perspective by the Veronese mathematician Giuseppe Torelli, published posthumously in Verona in 1788 by the Moroniana press with editorial work by Giovanni Battista Bertolini, addressed to mathematicians and to painters and architects studying projection. The plates are fine-line engraved diagrams of picture planes, ground lines and convergent sight rays, with lettered vertices and pyramids of sight drawn over one another, useful as ready-made linear armatures, technical-manual texture, or geometric ornament.
