Inside Out Library

I remember you;

[St. Bernard, J.] [from old catalog] · 1912 · [Quincy? Priv. print. · 71 pictures

A privately printed 1912 album of caricatures by J. St. Bernard, apparently made in Quincy for local businessmen and their circle who would recognize each other in it. The 73 plates are half-tone portrait caricatures: photographic heads pasted onto drawn bodies in checked suits and heavy shoes, holding ledgers, papers or samples against sketchy doorways and brick walls.
