The antiquarian itinerary, comprising specimens of architecture, monastic, castellated, and domestic; with other vestiges of antiquity in Great Britain. Accompanied with descriptions
A seven-volume topographical survey of British antiquities issued in London from 1815, engraved and compiled by James Storer with descriptive letterpress, sold by subscription to antiquaries and gentleman travellers. The plates are small copperplate views of ruined abbeys, castle gatehouses, church towers and timbered houses, set in wooded ground with a figure or two for scale; useful for fine stipple and line shading, silhouetted masonry, and window tracery details.
