The antiquarian itinerary, comprising specimens of architecture, monastic, castellated, and domestic; with other vestiges of antiquity in Great Britain. Accompanied with descriptions
A seven-volume topographical survey of British antiquities issued in London from 1815, engraved and compiled by James Storer with Charles Greig for subscribers collecting views of castles, abbeys, and old houses. The small steel-plate engravings place ruined towers, gatehouses, and church interiors in open landscape with fine hatched skies, foreground figures, and cattle, giving compact vignettes of masonry texture and silhouetted battlements.
