I tre libri della perspettiva commvne
An Italian edition of John Pecham's thirteenth-century optics treatise Perspectiva communis, translated by Giovanni Paolo Gallucci and printed in Venice by the heirs of Giovanni Varisco in 1593 for students of vision, light and perspective. The 57 plates are small woodcut geometry diagrams set into the text: circles crossed by chords and tangents, narrow cones of sight converging on a lettered point, ray bundles inside a disc, all in thin black line with serif letter labels on laid paper.
