Jan Kotera
A Czech monograph on the architect Jan Kotěra, written by the Prague critic Karel B. Mádl and issued by the fine-press publisher Jan Štenc in 1922 for architects and art readers. The plates are sepia halftone photographs of villas, museums and apartment blocks shot in flat daylight, plus plans and elevations, giving clean early-modern façades, brick and stucco wall textures, window grids and bare-branch silhouettes against pale sky.
