Japanese colour prints
A Victoria and Albert Museum handbook on Japanese colour prints, written by Edward Fairbrother Strange and printed for H.M. Stationery Office in London in 1913 for museum visitors and print collectors. The plates are monochrome halftone reproductions of ukiyo-e sheets, showing women in densely patterned kimono among lattice screens, beams and mosquito netting, useful for repeating textile patterns, figure poses and steep interior perspective.
