Jewellery
A survey history of jewellery by Harold Clifford Smith, a British Museum curator, published by Methuen in London in 1908 for collectors, museum students and the antiquarian trade. Halftone plates group pendants, rings, seals, cameos and enamelled lockets against plain grounds, alongside engraved goldsmiths' design sheets, giving designers isolated cut-out ornament and repeatable Renaissance settings.
