A German-language biographical history of Swiss artists, compiled by Johann Caspar Füssli with his brother Rudolf and engravers Johann Rudolf Holzhalb and Johann Heinrich Lips, published in Zürich by Orell, Gessner und Comp. in 1769 for collectors and connoisseurs. The plates scanned here are copperplate line engravings: floor plans and sections of vaulted and kiln-like structures, brick and cobble hatching, a small outline island map, and an anatomical dissection of vessels.
