John Siberch, the first Cambridge printer, 1521-1522
A short bibliographical study by G. J. Gray of John Siberch, Cambridge's first printer, issued at Cambridge by Bowes & Bowes in 1921 for the town's printers, booksellers and librarians on the quatercentenary of his press. Reproductions show early sixteenth-century woodcut printers' devices, interlaced monogram marks, a garter-encircled royal arms, and a title page framed by putti and grotesque columns.
