Kanclerz Krzysztof Szydowiecki; z dziejów kultury i sztuki Zygmuntowskich czasów
A Polish art-historical study of Krzysztof Szydłowiecki, chancellor to Sigismund I, written by Jerzy Kieszkowski and published in Poznań in 1912 for readers of Renaissance court history. The 182 plates reproduce sixteenth-century woodcuts, engravings and tomb sculpture: kneeling donor portraits under architectural arches, armoured knights with banners and shields, profile bust portraits in grotesque-ornament frames, and dense coats of arms usable as heraldic and border stock.
