A catalogue of the ornament-print collection of Berlin's Kunstgewerbemuseum, compiled by librarian Peter Jessen and published by E. A. Seemann in Leipzig in 1894 for designers, teachers and print collectors. Its 200 reproductions sample engraved ornament from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries: strapwork cartouches with empty tablets, coffered vaults and arcades in perspective, grotesque panels with sphinxes and putti, and medallion reliefs framed by masks and scrollwork.
