Kindergarten at home; a kindergarten course for the individual child at home
A 1911 home-teaching manual by Virgil M. Hillyer, published in New York by Baker & Taylor, setting out kindergarten exercises for a parent working with one child. The plates are plain black outline diagrams of folded and cut paper forms — crosses, pinwheels, squares, triangles and four-pointed stars built on a grid — usable as geometric ornament, logo marks, or pattern units.
