The Kindergarten journal
An American periodical on early childhood education, issued in Chicago around 1910 by the Chicago Kindergarten College Alumnae Association for teachers and kindergarten alumnae. Coarse halftone photographs show children grouped in tenement yards and vine-covered doorways, rows of pupils in a walled city garden, a wooded college campus, and a rocky stream, useful as period documentary texture and crowd-of-children silhouettes.
