The Kindergarten journal
A periodical issued in 1911 by the Chicago Kindergarten College Alumnae Association, carrying articles by Elizabeth Harrison and Clara Belle Baker for teachers of young children. The plates are coarse-screen halftone photographs, several printed sideways, showing children massed outdoors, adults with horse-drawn wagons, and buildings reduced to near-black blocks; useful for heavy dot texture, blown-out skies, and crowd silhouettes.
