A monthly periodical for kindergarten teachers and training students, issued in Chicago by the Kindergarten Magazine Co. from 1891, carrying Froebel biography, school reports and classroom method. Coarse-screen halftones show German houses, birthplaces and towered civic buildings under blank skies, alongside hard-edged wood engravings such as a circular medallion of two facing profiles with lettered rim.
