The Kindergarten magazine
A monthly periodical for kindergarten teachers and training-school students, issued in Chicago by the Kindergarten Magazine Co. from 1891. The plates are coarse-screen halftone photographs of school and institutional buildings, gabled suburban houses behind trees, a half-built brick block with scaffolding and a street lamp, and a park monument, useful as grainy grey architectural and streetscape stock.
