Kirchliche Kunst im alten Augsburg
A German survey of church art in old Augsburg, written by Johannes Evangelista Weis and published in Munich in 1900 for readers of religious art history. Halftone plates and line cuts reproduce late-Gothic altar panels, saints in brocaded robes with incised haloes, martyrdom scenes, and tracery frames, often printed as irregular cut-out shapes set into columns of Fraktur text.
