A collection of chess problems compiled by Alain Campbell White and issued by the American Chess Bulletin in New York in 1909 for problem composers and solvers. Each page carries a board diagram printed as a grid of hatched and plain squares with small silhouette pieces, giving designers ready-made checker patterns, line-shaded tiles, and compact figurative symbols.
