A könyv története
A Hungarian survey of the history of the book and printing trade, written by Károly Steinhofer and published by Lampel R. in Budapest in 1915 for general and trade readers. The plates are halftone photographs of decorated bindings — gold-tooled lace and fan patterns, panelled arabesque centrepieces, armorial ovals and a metal relief cover — usable as sources for frame borders, corner ornaments and centre-medallion layouts.
