Koll's patent lock-joint staved and turned columns.
A 1913 trade catalogue from the Hartmann-Sanders Company of Chicago selling Koll's patent lock-joint staved and turned wood columns to architects, builders and lumber dealers. Most plates are halftone photographs of a single column standing against a black ground inside a thin ruled border, showing Ionic, Doric and Corinthian capitals, plain and fluted shafts, and moulded bases, with measured line diagrams and porch and pergola views alongside; useful as isolated architectural silhouettes and classical ornament details.
