Laboratory exercises to accompany Carhart and Chute's First principles of physics
A 1912 physics laboratory manual by Raymond B. Brownlee and Robert W. Fuller, issued by Allyn and Bacon in Boston as a workbook of exercises for American high-school students using Carhart and Chute's textbook. The line drawings are simple outline diagrams of bench apparatus — pulley blocks and weights, spring balances gripped by a disembodied hand, clamped glass tubes and rubber hose — usable as clean mechanical schematics or as isolated hand-and-instrument motifs.
