La céramique au pays de Liège : étude rétrospective
A survey of pottery and porcelain made in the Liège region of Belgium, written by Florent Pholien and published in Liège by Bénard in 1906 for collectors, museum curators and students of Belgian ceramics. Hand-coloured plates group tureens, jugs, plates and vases against plain tinted grounds, with green and red floral sprigs, scalloped rims and pierced basketwork, alongside monochrome plates of Empire-style cups and urns; useful for repeating flower motifs, border patterns and cut-out object silhouettes.
