Lace work in the field of decoration
A trade catalogue of lace panels and curtains issued by the New York firm J.F. Patching & Co. in 1900 for decorators and furnishing buyers. The plates reproduce full lace panels in black line on pale ground: symmetrical candelabra arabesques, medallions and figured beasts set in dense net grounds and framed by scalloped borders, useful as ready-made ornamental frames, repeating mesh textures and filigree border strips.
