A portfolio of caricature drawings by André Rouveyre of the actors of the Comédie-Française during the 1905-1906 season, published in Paris by Albin Michel in 1906 with a preface by Robert de Montesquiou. The plates are brush-and-pen figure studies in black ink on cream paper, built from a few long contour lines with heavy solid blacks for hats, coats and shadows, useful for gestural portrait line, exaggerated profiles and sparse spot-black silhouettes.
