Lacunar basilicae Sancti Macarii, aberdonensis: the heraldic ceiling of the cathedral church of St. Machar, old Aberdeen
An antiquarian monograph by William Duguid Geddes and Peter Duguid, printed for the New Spalding Club in Aberdeen in 1888, recording the heraldic panelled ceiling of St Machar's Cathedral for Scottish historical and heraldic societies. The plates combine tinted architectural drawings of Gothic arcading, crockets and carved foliate cornices with blackletter name inscriptions in red and black, useful for lettering, border and armorial reference.
