Lady Charlotte Schreiber's collecting journals from 1869–1885, edited by Montague Guest with notes by Egan Mew and published by John Lane in London and New York in 1911 for collectors and museum readers alongside her ceramics bequest to the Victoria and Albert Museum. The plates are halftone photographs of English and Continental porcelain shot against plain dark or pale grounds: figure groups, flower-encrusted vases, teapots and jugs with modelled handles, useful for isolated object silhouettes, rococo scrollwork and applied floral detail.
